RHP Justin Duchscherer (biceps tendinitis) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 5. He made a rehab start April 21 and was activated April 26.

3B Eric Chavez (right shoulder surgery in September 2007, lower back surgery in October 2007, left shoulder surgery in November 2007) opened the season on the 15-day disabled list, and he was transferred to the 60-day DL on April 24. Chavez was shut down on March 23, but he took batting practice on April 25.

OF Travis Buck (shin splints) went on the disabled list retroactive to April 19.

RHP Keith Foulke (neck stiffness) went on the disabled list retroactive to April 11. He might make a rehab appearance on May 2.

RHP Kiko Calero (torn right rotator cuff) opened the season on the 60-day disabled list. He is attempting to rehab his shoulder without surgery.
