Orioles 8, Giants 4: Shane Pitcock led the Giants on the mound and at the plate, but the Orioles prevailed, in a battle between orange-and-black teams on May 9 at Chabot. Pitcock pitched four strong innings, allowing the O's only two runs on one hit, and had three hits and an RBI. Blake Williams added two hits, while both Max Wilson and Gavin Lituchi pitched well in relief, and each had a hit and scored a run. Andre Nnebe got the Orioles on the board in the first inning with a two-run single. He then came on in relief in the fourth and got the O's out of a jam by striking out two and forcing a runner at the plate to preserve a2-2 tie. The Orioles then broke it open in the fifth, sending 10 hitters to the plate and scoring five runs. Casey Bonzell got the rally started with a double into the gap in left center. Reliever Orion Binder closed it out for the Orioles, striking out three to end the game.

Brandon Bunner (4-for-5, three runs, two RBI), Kenji Ky-Fries (3-for-5, three runs), Sasha Bates, (3-for-4, two RBI) and Zhi Mankin, (3-for-5), led the Angels 20-hit attack. Sam Hollenbach pitched the final three innings, striking out four for the win. Ryan Wi provided the offense with a home run and three RBI, while Miles Cohen pitched chipped in with three hits, including an RBI triple in the fourth. Max Wilson turned in the defensive play of the game by alertly backing up an errant throw to first base, and gunning a Rangers runner down at second.

In the third, the Dragons' Jonas Yee and Jackson slammed hits. In all, five Dragons got on base, and stolen bases helped to score four runs. Muckdogs pitcher Adams struck out two. The Muckdogs got hot in the third inning and scored five runs with a single by Sherman, a single by Lane Nihei, and a double by Matt Moser. A single by Muckdog Andrew Adams in the second inning got the action going again, but strong Rivercats defense kept the Muckdogs from scoring. The Rivercats catcher again proved to be crucial when he and the shortstop threw out a steal at second. In the third, Muckdog Lane Nihei slammed a beautiful drive to center field, only to have the Rivercats centerfielder make a fantastic catch. Muckdog Feist hit an RBI single to put another one up on the board. The Rivercats broke it open in the fourth inning, scoring five runs to take the lead 5-3. The Rivercats had three singles by Henry Visnik, Solomon Rapson, and Geremy. The Muckdogs fought back to score two more and tie it up in the fifth, only to have the Rivercats come back and score one more to lead 6-5. In a tense sixth inning, the Muckdogs used aggressive base running to score two more runs to take the lead 7-6. The Rivercats came back and scored one of their own to end the battle in a tie at 7-7.

The Night 17, Lightning Bolts 4: The Night bats were rocking, with season-high 11 hits. Morgan Mason led the way with three hits, including a grand slam, triple and six RBI. Rachel Klein had a double, two RBI and threw out a runner stealing third. Riley Moore (triple) and Maddy Kho (single) had their first hits of the year; Dalissa Sandigo had another two-hit game, and Lia Delvecchio pitched two great innings, closing out the Bolts' fifth-inning rally. Hannah Wruck's defense also keyed The Night's victory.

Oakland Red Tailed Hawks 4, Piedmont Dragons 3: Olivia Moore pitched for the Hawks well and made some pivotal plays at second base. Emily Lecocq's hit scored Sunaina Sekaran for the winning run.
