Greetings Yankee fans, Corey McLaughlin here to blog you through tonight's game between the Oakland A's and the Yankees . The live blog/chat will start up around 7 p.m. First pitch is at 7:05. Andy Pettitte gets the start for the Yanks while Dana Eveland takes the mound for Oakland. Of course, tonight's game marks the return of Jason Giambi to New York. Some observers point to Giambi signing with the Yankees after the 2001 World Series, and the previous signing of Mike Mussina after the '00 Series, as the start of the downfall of the Yankee Dynasty.
